Restore Your Smile with Realistic Dental Implants

Restore Your Smile with Realistic Dental Implants

Dental implants are the best way to permanently replace missing teeth. They look and feel natural, require minimal special care, and can easily last 30+ years with proper care. If you’ve lost one or more teeth in San Francisco, dental implants are the best way to restore your smile.

Replacing Teeth Doesn’t Need To Be Difficult!

Previously, patients have voiced worries regarding the aesthetics of their teeth. However, they hesitated to consider dental implants due to cost and potential discomfort.

Smile Every Day and Show Off Your Perfect Teeth!

In addition to providing excellent functional and cosmetic results, dental implants also help protect your smile and your oral health. Just like natural teeth, dental implants put pressure on the underlying jaw bone when you bite and eat. This stimulates the bone and prevents bone resorption, which is a common problem after tooth loss. Contact us today to schedule an appointment with Dr. Joyce Stein, and see if dental implants in San Francisco are right for you.

How Easy Is It?

Have you tried other dentists and trying to schedule an appointment felt like you were pulling your own teeth? Get started on your journey today with Sutter Dental Collective in three easy steps.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

To begin the process, our San Francisco dentist will perform a comprehensive oral exam. Using our advanced technology, Dr. Stein will determine if you’re a good candidate for implants. If you’re approved, she’ll begin creating your implant plan right away.

IMPLANT SURGERY

You’ll come back to Sutter Dental Collective for your dental implant surgery. Dr. Stein will clean and numb your mouth and provide you with sedation to keep you comfortable. Then, she’ll make a small opening in your gums and jaw. She will place a small titanium implant in this area, then clean it and suture it shut.

RECOVERY & FOLLOW-UP

You’ll be sent home with recovery instructions. Initial recovery takes about 2 weeks, but it will take up to 6 months for the implant to bond with your jaw bone. You’ll come in for several follow-ups during this time so that Dr. Stein can check your recovery, and begin building your restoration, such as a dental crown.

Learn More About The Types of Dental Implants We Provide

Dental Implants are essentially the most “tooth like” permanent way to replace a missing tooth or teeth. Implants fully restored will consist of three parts.

Single-tooth implants are the most common type of implant. As the name suggests, they are used to replace just one tooth. They consist of one metal implant and a false tooth, also called a dental crown. The implant functions as the root of the tooth, while the crown functions as the tooth.

Full-arch implants consist of a series of 4-6 implants that are placed in the upper, lower, or both arches of the mouth. Once they heal, they can be used to hold a removable or permanent set of implant-supported dentures. Full-arch implants look and feel more natural, are more durable, and last longer than traditional dentures.

We can build implant restorations to repair damaged implants, or to restore implants after surgery has been performed at another dental office. We use Zimmer implants and technology to provide superior results in San Francisco.

When a tooth is decayed, it becomes depleted of essential minerals. Fluoride attracts these minerals back into the tooth structure. If your teeth could use a little revitalization, be sure to add on a fluoride treatment to your next appointment!
